Equicalm MFSIF Discretionary Portfolio

Investment Objective:

The objective of Equicalm MFSIF Discretionary Portfolio is to generate capital appreciation in the long term by investing in Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs), Mutual Funds (MFs), Exchange Traded Funds, REITs and INVITS.

Description of types of Securities

This portfolio would predominantly invest in Specialised Investment Funds, Equity MFs, Hybrid MFs, ETFs, and Index Funds. This portfolio can also invest in REITs and INVITs. It may also invest in Debt Funds (Overnight, Liquid, Ultra Short Duration and Low Duration) for liquidity purposes.

Allocation of the Equicalm MFSIF Discretionary Portfolio:

- SIFs, Equity MFs, Hybrid MFs, ETFs and Index Funds: 0% - 100%

- REITS/INVITS: 0% - 50%

- Debt Funds: 0% - 25%

It will be the endeavour of the Portfolio Manager to follow the norms listed above. However, the portfolio manager retains the right to deviate from these norms from time to time at its sole discretion in the best interest of the Client’s portfolio and in accordance with the investment objectives and risk parameters. In case of deviation in the above provided asset allocation, same shall be rebalanced within 90 days.

Risks:

Under the investment approach, the investments are made in SIFs, Equity MFs, Hybrid MFs, ETFs and Index Funds. At times, these may under-perform the benchmark and at times the portfolio can have higher volatility. For detailed risk factors please refer to the section on “Risk Factors”.

Appropriateness of the Benchmark:

The performance would be benchmarked against CRISIL Hybrid 50+50 Moderate Index. The composition of the benchmark is such that it is most suited for comparing the performance of the portfolio. The Portfolio Manager reserves the right to change the benchmark in future if there is another benchmark that is better suited to the investment objective and the investment approach.
